Our People

Cody Beckman, Owner

Cody started with gate repair in 2009 as part of the Cedarwell family of independently owned and operated gate specialists, and he still takes service calls most weeks. He’s the one who answers the phone when you call after dinner, and he’s been known to talk a homeowner through a stuck Viking opener while standing in his own garage. His rule on every job is simple: explain the price before the work, and don’t leave until the gate cycles smoothly three times in a row.

Marcus T., Lead Technician

Marcus has been with Latch and Post for eleven years and handles most of the electric gate repair calls across Henderson, Green Valley, and Anthem. He’s our factory-trained specialist on LiftMaster and DoorKing operator systems, and he keeps a running mental catalog of every circuit board revision those brands have shipped. Off the clock, Marcus rebuilds old pinball machines, which he says is the only hobby that makes gate wiring look simple. He’s the guy most likely to show up with a diagram drawn on the back of an envelope for you.

Elena R., Senior Installer

Elena leads our gate installation work, from single-swing driveway gates to full double-gate setups with operators. She’s certified on FAAC and BFT hydraulic systems and has a particular knack for setting posts that stay true through Henderson’s summer heat and the occasional monsoon-season downpour. Elena grew up on a ranch in northern Nevada, so she’s been welding and setting fences since she could hold a level. If your gate needs to hold a slope or a stubborn grade, you want Elena on it.

DeShawn J., Service Coordinator

DeShawn is the voice on the phone more often than not. He schedules the crew, tracks parts, and makes sure every job gets a written price before anyone turns a wrench. He’s been in the trades since 2015 and spent four years as an installer before moving to the office, so when you describe the noise your gate is making, he knows what you mean. DeShawn also keeps a list of every Henderson street with an HOA gate standard so we show up knowing what’s expected.

Tommy B., Apprentice

Tommy is our newest team member, in his second year with the crew and learning fast. He rides with Marcus on most repair calls and has already logged hundreds of hours on gate tracks, hinges, and safety sensors. Tommy’s the one laying drop cloths and putting on shoe covers before we step inside your garage. He grew up in Henderson and went to Basic High School, so he knows these neighborhoods as well as anyone on the truck.
